As a lifelong writer and avid reader, Sam’s experience in written communication has covered multiple areas of journalism, as well as the marketing and educational sectors. After getting his start at The Pitt News, his campus newspaper, Sam later covered Duquesne basketball for Pittsburgh Sporting News and worked as a freelancer for Pitt Magazine.
In the summer of 2015, Sam took his talents to Prose Media, a content marketing agency in New York City. There, he focused on email marketing to generate leads, social media, blogging and e-books. During his last semester at the University of Pittsburgh, he served as an assistant speechwriter for the chancellor’s office.
As an account coordinator at WordWrite, Sam manages the firm’s social media accounts and company blog. He also assists with content development for several WordWrite clients.
Sam graduated with honors and a degree in economics from the University of Pittsburgh in December 2015. He also holds a certificate in public and professional writing from the university. Outside of his professional life, Sam enjoys playing music, reading, working out and playing basketball.
