WordWrite Virtual PR, Social Media Intern Featured in Pittsburgh Media

CEO Paul Furiga and Intern Miles Ritenour share experience, thoughts in article
Pittsburgh PR agency WordWrite Communications was recently featured in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review article, "Virtual interns become reality." The article, written by Trib writer A.J. Panian, discusses the recent trend of more companies seeking virtual interns because of the "technological marriage of Internet-based communications tools and Generation Y's familiarity with them."
Miles Ritenour, a Point Park University senior, became WordWrite's first-ever virtual intern in January 2010. He comes into the office every Monday and on Wednesdays and Fridays he is "virtual," communicating with the WordWrite team via e-mail, instant messaging and Skype. Ritenour contributes to a variety of projects, including maintenance of the agency's Web site and social media channels, research for clients, and media relations.
