Over more than a decade, Holly Barclay has honed her expertise in writing, event management and media relations in some of the most dynamic environments in public relations.

Before joining WordWrite, Holly worked for Ketchum public relations, developing and managing consumer and business-to-business events for a range of clients including H.J. Heinz, GlaxoSmithKline, Just For Men hair color and the Canned Food Alliance.

Previously, Holly was Senior Manager of Public Relations for Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, N.C., where she publicized NASCAR, speedway events, the speedway itself – a national fixture in NASCAR racing – and managed all aspects of the infield media center. She was also responsible for planning and executing the annual four-day NASCAR media tour that attracted more than 200 motor sports journalists.

Before working at the speedway, Holly was an account executive with Ketchum in Atlanta and Pittsburgh, implementing PR programs for a variety of business-to-business clients including Quaker State, Lanier Worldwide, Energizer Power Systems and Mine Safety Appliances.

Holly also was a project writer/coordinator for Lanier Worldwide, writing and editing the employee magazine and customer newsletters and assisting in meeting and event planning.
