Samantha (or Sam) joined the WordWrite team in the fall of 2008 as an intern, and has since worked directly with the media and on client accounts to tell their great, untold stories. As an assistant account executive, Sam takes an active role in media pitching, media monitoring, and writing as well as social media implementation for a number of client accounts.
Sam is a graduate of Duquesne University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a business certificate in marketing. She is an active member of the Pittsburgh chapter of Public Relations Society of America. Prior to joining WordWrite, Sam was involved in various public relations endeavors. In the fall of 2007, she headed a small team in charge of all on-campus promotions for a Career Day sponsored by the Sports Marketing Association. She also wrote and complied media kits for the nightlife complex Station Square.
While attending Duquesne University, Sam was a Dean’s List student who honed her writing skills by submitting freelance articles to The Duquesne Duke and participated in organizations such as the Duquesne chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). Sam is a resident of the South Side who loves animals and enjoys vacationing with family in the Outer Banks.
