Pittsburgh, PA (November 21, 2018) – WordWrite Communications, a strategic communications agency in downtown Pittsburgh, is adding at least a few more accolades to its shelves this awards season.
Most recently, members of the WordWrite team traveled to the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Heritage Region Conference in Richmond, Va. to collect a Silver Quill Award of Merit. The award honored Paul Furiga, Robin Rectenwald and Hollie Geitner for their “YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh’s CPR Plan” in the Issues Management and Crisis Communication category. Silver Quills are awarded to outstanding communications professionals in the 18-state Heritage Region who prove their communication campaign’s efficacy in helping achieve the goals of their organizations, clients or causes.
WordWrite is known for its success in crisis counseling as well as its expert knowledge in healthcare communications. The agency achieved an honorable mention in the Media Relations category from the PR News’ Healthcare Communications Awards for its MedExpress Media Relations campaign. Also, in the healthcare sector, WordWrite picked up an honorable mention in the Cause Advocacy section from PR Daily’s Digital PR & Social Awards for use of digital and social media for its MedAccess PA campaign. Each of the aforementioned award programs seek to honor and celebrate the most successful campaigns of the year.
