Pittsburgh, PA (February 5, 2019) – WordWrite Communications, Pittsburgh’s largest independent public relations firm, was recognized by its peers at the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Pittsburgh Chapter’s Renaissance Awards at the Heinz History Center on January 31.
Attended by more than 200 communications professionals representing agencies, corporations and non-profits, the Renaissance Awards recognizes campaigns in a variety of categories. Two WordWrite client campaigns were recognized at the highest award level for B2B and Crisis Communications.
WordWrite was honored for its StoryCrafting approach to launch a strategic rebrand for McClintock & Associates, a Pittsburgh-based accounting firm. The agency also took home the only Renaissance Award in the Crisis Communications category for the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh CPR Plan, which helped the 164-year-old nonprofit successfully navigate a bankruptcy reorganization announcement without damaging its brand. Additionally, WordWrite’s apprentice, Morgan McCoy, a senior at Point Park University, received the PRSA Renaissance Student Scholar Award.
